We all know that SXM is Strong! and this is why it still has so much to offer. Here is a brief overview of French Side beaches that you could be visiting while on vacation on St Martin.

Plum Bay

A beautiful sunset can be admired from this gorgeous beach. Also located in the Terres Basses enclave, Plum bay is an unforgettable setting for a romantic glass of champagne while the sun sinks in the ocean. You may even see the legendary green flash.

Baie Rouge

Easy access has always this beach a favorite amongst the St Martin beaches. Park at the parking lot at the far end of the beach and take the stairs that lead to the gorgeous stretch of white sand and turquoise water. Some villas located on this beach have suffered damage due to Irma, but the beach is beautiful.

Baie Longue

Another Terres Basses beach looking beautiful. The warm sand slopes gently to the crashing waves for a picture perfect beach.

Friar’s Bay

Kali’s Beach Bar is open on Friar’s Bay. Lounge chairs by the water’s edge, a cold cocktail in hand and a perfectly relaxing day in front of you awaits at this famous beach bar.

Grand Case Beach

The village of Grand Case is famous for its many restaurants – from fine dining to the lolo’s – the cute boutiques and the “Mardi de Grand Case” – a Tuesday evening of carnival fun. Orient Bay

Orient Bay has returned to a “wilder” state. The famous beach restaurants are no longer – for the moment – present on this beautiful beach. Enjoy a long stroll down the 2 kilometers (1.32 miles) of white sand and turquoise waters.
